RATS FACE-OFF AGAINST SLOVIAN SELECTION

Team Management announced today that the 2001 Rats squad will be faceing off against a touring Slovian team as part of their pre-season warm-up.

The Slovian team skill level and make-up is unknowen, but they are said to be a group of seven or eight old-timers who enjoy traveling and playing the great game of ice hockey.

It will be the Rats first ever game against an overseas team. Squad member Ernie 'Hollywood' Hayes remarked that he thought of it as a sort of 'Champions vs Champions' league game.
