MUSTARDMEN WIN SECOND YEAR RUNNING

The Mustardmen are two-time championship winners,
edging the Bears 5-4 in the second best-of-three
2002 A&H Cup finals at the Alpine Sports Arena, Christchurch,
last night.
The
Mustardmen have now fashioned a record unlikely to be
beaten - they have scored 29 goals while only conceding
11 in the 2001 & 2002 finals series.
Prior
to defeating the Bears 11-3 in game one of the finals,
they and ran over the Rink Rats 10-0 in the minor-semi-final.
The
Rodents went 1-3-0 in the 2002 season, and stand 11-10-1
all-time against the Mustardmen.
