Call him Yoda. Call him the Great Rat. Just call him -
that's the important thing. If he's on your side, he's
there to win.
No
difference to him if it's the game bell or the dinner
bell, Ian will be there quick smart and with - well, dare
we say it, with bells on.
The
Great Rat (aka Ian Frederick
Bell) led the Ratpack into battle last night against
the Mustardmen, poised on 99 pts scored in a
Rink Rat uniform.
There
has never been any doubt as to his commitment to the game,
both off and on the ice. In fact, some say he plays even
harder in the bar than he does on the great white slippery
stuff.
Whatever
the case and who ever you talk to, all agree that he has
improved the lot of ice hockey in the land of the Kiwi
beyond measure with his energy and love of the game. And
tonight he wrote his own page in history to become the
first ever Rink Rat to score 100 points for the team.
